We Can Help

In a landscape defined by generalist roles, rising staff turnover costs, talent shortages, and the rapid evolution of digital learning driven by generative AI, smaller businesses face increasing pressure to develop their people effectively while managing significant risk and budget constraints.

Sivico Learning provides end‑to‑end learning technology consultancy support so SMEs can build and scale their people development capability with confidence.

We take a three-stage approach.

1. Discover

Strategic intent and requirements

What are your business needs? What do you hope to achieve? Can you articulate the primary objective for developing your L&D capacity with technology? What is your people strategy? Is your organisation focused on reskilling? Do you see AI as a key part of your current or future business model?

Requirements gathering is more than a shopping list of desires from a small group of stakeholders. It requires elucidation from as wide a range of voices as possible from across the business. Only then can a list of specific and testable requirements – internally validated and aligned to the primary objective – be taken to procurement.

The Discover phase is the most important part of the process. Get this wrong and businesses can select the wrong technology for the wrong reason – an expensive mistake. Our Discover process will spend 1-2 days in-person to establish your strategic intent, stakeholder groups, user personas and so on.

This will also give us the list of functional and non-functional requirements to take to the Recommend phase.

Identify the right solution

Is your workforce mobile? Will they engage with your L&D content from laptops and monitors or tablets and phones? Do you have significant mandatory learning requirements? Do you report compliance to outside agencies? Are you able to create content with your internal resources? Is a unitary platform to best solution for you?

Knowing which learning solution to choose can be a significant challenge, no matter the coherence of the requirements. There are strengths and weaknesses in all learning management systems, whether it’s Docebo, 360learning, Cornerstone, Thrive or Sana Labs. Equally, a single platform might not be the right approach to achieve your primary objective.

Working closely with the client, Sivico Learning can carry the weight of vendor engagement and selection. We will share requirements, co-create the RFP, manage vendor responses, set up show and tells, seek clarifications and at all times ensure value for the client remains at the core of recommendations.

Sivico Learning is platform agnostic. Only the technology that enables the client to achieve their primary objective will be recommended.

3. Deliver

Achieve your outcomes and realise benefits for the business

Will IT Services be involved in/lead the procurement? Are there AI guardrails in place? Do you have multiple data regimes to consider? What are the concerns of your Head of Compliance? Are there DPIAs and AI Impact Assessments to complete? Do you have internal platform administrator capacity? Who will manage the content pipeline? What are your KPIs and data metrics?

Sivico Learning can help, from completing compliance paperwork aligned to the technologies of a learning management system to working with vendors and IT on SSO configuration.

We can also help shape any L&D recruitment needs by developing specific job descriptions or assessing external consultancy support you may need.
